Ethiopian Sidamo coffee is known for having extremely fruit-forward flavors. We lightly roast these organic coffee beans to ensure the true strawberry and citrus flavors shine through and level out into a well-rounded, earthy finish. This bright, acidic coffee is hailed for its unique and exquisite flavor and body.
The Sidamo (or Sidama) is located in the Oromia coffee growing region of Southern Ethiopia. Due to the climate and acidic soil in this particular region of Southern Ethiopia, almost all of the coffees trees grown here produce coffee beans with remarkable fruity flavors and are also renown for being some of the most high-quality Ethiopian coffee beans.
Ingredients: Organic 100% Arabica coffee.

The best single origin coffee
"It's hard finding single origin coffe in general, then to be able to find a single origin from Ethiopia AND organic is another feat. Amazon stopped carrying this particular roast and I was so happy to find the manufacturer carries is directly. It's a great price and tastes great!"

A light roast, mild body with attitude 🙂
"Makes great cold brew, and the syrupy, berry forward taste that's characteristic of naturally processed (as opposed to washed) beans aren't at all muted. I usually do a 1:12 for 14 hrs and dilute. The pic is my pitcher and a 4x6 coffee bag that I put inside a fine mesh filter- no fines, but sometimes, I run it through a paper filter for a cleaner mouth feel. Even though I prefer washed beans, this is a nice change so I'll buy again."

Flavorful, high-value decaf
"I love the natural Ethiopian taste, and this decaf is one the more decent options I’ve come across. But the real benefit is the value, especially at the higher volumes. For me, I’d rather be able to drink more of a very good coffee than less of a great one, so this has fit perfectly."

Great experience great coffee!
"I love the Ethiopian Light roast. I would love to be able to get the Guatemalan in light roast rather than medium roast!"

Nice, light flavor

— Katina V. (4/5)
Ethiopian for the daily drinker
"Maybe not as well known as the Yirgacheffe but I found Sidamo more balanced and less acidic than Yirgacheffe or Guji. Lots of fruit and bright. Try pairing it with dark chocolate."

Q&A
This is naturally dried on a bed and not washed so as to lock in the natural flavor of the coffee thank you
Hello! Natural processing allows the sugars from the coffee cherry to impart flavor and fruity notes onto the beans. The extended fermentation time can produce wine like notes. Team FRC
Is it vacuum packed
We don't vacuum-pack our coffee. In fact, we CAN'T vacuum pack it! That's because we pack our coffee just after roasting - while it's still expelling air or "degassing" - so that even if we sucked out all the air, the bag would still puff up. That's the reason for the one-way valve on the bag - so that your coffee can continue to degas without blowing up the bag. We also nitrogen-flush each bag before sealing it. That pushes the oxygen out and oxygen is what makes coffee beans go stale. So while those coffee bricks you see in the grocery store might look cool and stack nicely, you can tell just by looking at them that they aren't Fresh Roasted.
