Bold and Smooth Dark Roast

"If you enjoy darker roasts, this one is worth trying. It delivered a rich aroma and full-bodied flavor while remaining smooth and easy to drink. The roast brought out deeper notes without tasting burnt or bitter. It made an excellent morning cup and held up well across different brewing methods. A very satisfying coffee that I would gladly order again."

Dark Guatemala Coffee

"This is such enjoyable coffee. It’s a dark coffee with incredible taste. Chocolate notes and citrus notes make it very different from run of the mill coffee. My first cup in the early morning is a joy to sip and savor."

My N. (5/5)

Dark Guatemalan coffee pods

"Great coffee as always! Never had a coffee from FRC that wasn’t good. These pods have the same fantastic flavor as the bagged coffee. They are very convenient when you’re in a hurry before work or just want that single cup anytime. FRC is my go to roaster and I’ll definitely be ordering again."

Roger W. (5/5)

Dark roasted delight

"Dark Guatemala Huehuetenango is among the finest dark roasts out there. A perfect complement to a medium roast like papua New Guinea if you;re like me and enjoy hand-blending medium and dark roasts."

Daniel G. (5/5)

Great tasting coffee

"We like that Dark Guatemalan Huehuetenango is low in acid like our other favorite Dark Sumatran. It is a change of pace for us. I am looking forward to using it as iced coffee when the weather warms up more consistently I have recommended FRC and this coffee in particular"

Gregory K. (5/5)

Fantastic

"One of my new favorite dark roast. When you grind it, the aroma is awesome."

Surprisingly mellow and rich

"I'm a big fan of FRC's Italian Espresso and their blends, so I thought I'd check out their darks from other destinations. I picked up a sample bag of the whole bean dark varieties of the Costa Rican and the Huehuetenango to begin my exploration. Though I'm not as big a fan of the Costa Rican, the dark Huehuetenango is a definite keeper. I'm not sure if it's the non-standard soil composition of the area where the beans are grown and harvested or what, but, for a dark, thd taste is smooth without sacrificing any of the body I appreciate so much in a dark roast. If you like the Espresso line, you'll enjoy the Huehuetenango."

Joshua B. (5/5)
