Organic Bali Blue Moon - Classic Coffee Pods

Cupping Notes: Vanilla, Anise, Chocolate

Medium Roast with a Bold, Spicy Body

Organic Bali Blue Moon coffee is overwhelmingly rich with syrupy dark chocolate notes, a creamy mouthfeel and spiced finish. The earthiness found in many Indonesian coffees takes a backseat with this Bali Blue Moon coffee, where earthy notes are very subtle overall. This stunning Rainforest Alliance Certified, single-origin organic coffee remains one of our all-time best sellers.

After a devastating volcano blast in 1963, the Balinese government revitalized their coffee agriculture and economy by handing out coffee seed stock to local farmers and encouraging an island-wide coffee growing campaign. Today, there are over 7,000 hectares of organic coffee-growing farmland in Bali, Indonesia. Pesticides and chemicals are illegal to use on any of the crops, which are farmed using 100% organic fertilizers. Improved coffee growing practices have only increased the worth of this remarkable Bali Blue Moon coffee, as well as improving socioeconomic conditions across the entire island nation.

Ingredients: Organic 100% Arabica coffee. Organic certified by PA Certified Organic. OU Kosher certified. Produced in an SQF certified, renewable energy powered facility.

This single-serve coffee is compatible with many popular K-Cup® brewing systems, including 2.0, and K-Supreme®. Keurig, K-Cup, and K-Supreme are registered trademarks of Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC is neither affiliated with nor approved by Keurig Dr Pepper Inc.

Full-bodied Flavor and Spice

"This coffee is quite good. Perfect for those who like a full-bodied chocolate-forward taste with a spicy / herbal finish. I drink this coffee black, as espresso, and in dirty chais. All delicious. Up next is cold brew. You can't go wrong."

Great smooth brew

"I like medium roast and a bold body, but I still want SMOOTH - not always easy to find. Bali Blue Moon gets the job done. I did discover that the most consistent brew came from a coarser grind and I use an immersion brewer. I keep this variety on my regular rotation."

New Favorite

"Great taste with a little fruitiness. No bitterness and I actually enjoy the coffee with no additions. It ranks within my wife and I’s top 3 coffees 😎. We have been drinking coffee from all over the world for the past 30 years and this was our first taste of Bali grown coffee. I have subscribed and I would encourage others to check it out."

Bali Blue chases the blues away

"I love the rich aroma and smooth taste of Bali blue. It is a nice medium roast that is so smooth. Not a bit of bitter under tones. One of my favorites to be sure"

Bali Blu Moon

"The coffee was delicious. I found it best when water temperature at 102-104 degrees Fahrenheit at 450 milliliters volume with 36 grams coffee ground fine"

Timothy M. (5/5)

Complex

"My wife and I taste tested six different samples. This was good but not our favorite. Smooth and balanced but lacked some of the brighter notes that we enjoy. Better than most store bought beans. Definitely resulted in a cup that tasted fresh. As taste is super personal, my guess is many will love the complexity of this brew."

Not to my tastes

"We bought this coffee as a trial since one of our other SE Asian coffees wasn’t in stock. First off we only drink espresso so anything that has an odd flavor is very noticeable. The Bali does have a chocolate like flavor with a velvety texture. I noticed it was a bit gritty as well. Not necessarily bad but there. Once I dialed in the grind the taste was a bit better but still too odd for our tastes. In a drip or french press with milk etc you may enjoy it."

Always Wonderful

"Organic Bali Blue Moon is nonprobable to coffees way more expensive. The flavor is right up there with Kona or Blue Mountain coffees."

Love your organic Bali blue

"Love your organic Bali blue moon. I use it with my Breville Espresso machine & I get great tasting espresso shots."

Bali Blue Moon

"Got a sample bag of the Bali Blue Moon and I'm definitely going to be ordering a full bag in the future. In general, like like SE Asian coffees anyway, so I was looking forward to giving this a try. Surprisingly, it wasn't quite as earthy as most SE Asian coffees, it's taste was quite a bit more nuanced. Which is not to say that it's weak tasting, but it's not going to club you over the head with say the aggressiveness of a dark roasted Sumatra. It has a very chocolaty/velvety mouthfeel that lingers on the palette. I did notice that the finish seemed a tiny bit acidic compared to other SE Asian coffees. But I wouldn't call it overly sharp or unbalanced - just something I noticed. There was less of this in my pour-over vs. my drip brew."
